INTRODUCING Dean Kemp

Dean Kemp is an artist who employs traditional techniques to create figurative and portrait sculptures. Working as a professional sculptor since 2005 Kemp has been commissioned to produce an array of family portraits from grandchildren to grandparents. These portraits vary from bust to full body sculptures and can range from free form with tool marks to controlled and precisely detailed. Kemp works from sittings and photographs in order to develop a familiarity and dialogue with his subjects. This enables him to create vivid sculptures that perfectly encapsulate not only the subjects form but also their essence.Tel: 01924 482889

Gallery North are the creators of contemporary, original canvases, ceramic sculpture and photography prints . This unique concession is also a working artist's studio. The range of work on show is diverse; from traditional portraits to large scale graffiti style canvases.
